Welcome to the Tripoli Institute for Policy Studies -TIPS

A non-governmental Think Tank dedicated to addressing critical socio-economic issues in Tripoli, Lebanon. Established in 2021, TIPS is committed to proposing solutions, fostering dialogue, and driving positive change in our community.

Tripoli Institute for policy studies
Transparency International Lebanon - Anti-Corruption, in cooperation with the Tripoli Institute for Policy Studies, invites you to attend a training session in Tripoli on practical means to combat corruption and encourage reporting of it through the application of the Right to Access to Information Law and the Law to Protect Corruption Whistleblowers. In addition to introducing the “Ikhbar” service provided by the Association’s Lebanese Center for Advocacy and Legal Advice, we aim, through this session, to spread the culture of combating corruption and thus achieve accountability and enhance transparency at the local level.

A certificate of participation will be obtained at the end of the training

The International Transparency Association Lebanon, in collaboration with the Tripoli Institute for Policy Studies (TIPS), invites you to attend an online introductory session on practical methods to combat corruption and encourage reporting through the Whistleblower Protection Law. The session will also introduce the "Ikhbar" service provided by the Lebanese Advocacy and Legal Advice Center (LALAC), affiliated with the association. The aim of this session is to promote an anti-corruption culture, thereby achieving accountability and enhancing transparency at the local level.

A press conference will take place on Monday 10/7/2023 in Tripoli to launch the whitepaper. This white paper outlines a model to fight corruption on a local level in Lebanon. The paper presents a definition of corruption and the legal framework comprising of existing laws and regulatory bodies that activists can use in their fight against corruption with a special focus on their use on a local level.
